A) 3-Position Snatch (floor, below knee, above knee)
1 set @ 60%, 1 @ 65%, 4 @ 70%  – rest 90-120sec between sets

B) Snatch Pull –  3 sets of 2 @ 90% (of snatch), 3 x 2, @ 95%,
rest 90-120sec bwtween sets

C) Back Squat – 5 x 5 @ 70% – rest 2-3 minutes between sets

D) Push Press – 5 x 5 @ 70% – rest 90-120sec between sets

E) 3x400m Run – 1:1 rest ratio

Why Complexes?

Here is one paragraph from an article by Spencer Arnold who is a respected Weightlifting coach/athlete in Georgia.

“The point in showing this complex and talking specifically about why I do complexes this close to a National meet is to remind you that complexes are designed to fatigue you. The fatigue your experience will often allow you to mimic 95% plus percentages as far as fatigue and heart rate are concerned without actually loading 95% on the bar.”
